Reviews and Ratings
The hotel had spotlessly clean, spacious rooms that were so quiet, with a bright atmosphere and a large window. The service was extremely friendly, polite, and helpful, from the front staff to the restaurant team. The location was a bit close to the main commercial center and offered direct access to the seaside park and Chinatown. The dining experience was delightful, with plentiful and delicious options. The facilities exceeded expectations, making for a comfortable stay.
The hotel offers comfortable rooms with the right amenities, though the view may not match your expectations. The service is pleasant and helpful, with well-trained staff. The location is convenient, close to main train stations and interesting areas. The dining options are good, with a variety of buffet or Japanese-style selections.
My stay at the hotel was truly enjoyable. The rooms were way bigger than any Japanese room I've stayed in before, which was a real bonus. Although the extra bed could have been more comfortable, the mountain view from Kobe Tower was stunning. The hotel's location at the waterfront of Kobe Port was a major highlight, offering direct access to the seaside park and being within walking distance to Chinatown and Motomachi shopping street.
My stay at the hotel was a mixed experience. The rooms were spacious, clean, and featured a large double bed that provided a restful sleep. The views of Kobe Tower from the room were stunning, offering a nice city or harbor panorama. However, the dining options, particularly the Japanese Set, were not as elaborate or satisfying as expected. The location, right at Meriken Park, was convenient for exploring Kobe, but the value for money regarding dining was a downside.
The hotel had very spacious rooms with 2 double beds, the largest we have seen in our 3 weeks traveling around Japan. While the furniture appeared tired and in desperate need of refurbishment at night, the service was incredibly helpful, especially during the G20 event, with very friendly and polite staff. The location was perfect for walking to many attractions and offered a great view of Kobe Harbour, even though the in-house restaurants were a bit pricey. The dining experience, with Japanese sets and a good variety, was solid with a minor issue of unable to cook bacon. Overall, a comfortable stay with excellent transportation options and a bit on the expensive side.
My stay at the hotel was simply delightful. The rooms were spotlessly clean, spacious, and incredibly quiet, providing a nice and comfortable atmosphere with all the right amenities. I could enjoy a stunning view overlooking the park, the Kobe Tower, and the sea from my room, all while resting on the comfortable beds. The hotel's location is convenient, near the harbor park, Mosaic, UMIC shopping centers, and Kobe Tower. While the dining experience was excellent with a variety of Japanese and European options, the moved Camelia Restaurant to the 34th floor lacked food variety. The service was top-notch, with the reception staff being helpful in guiding me to various attractions, like Kobe beef restaurants, local pubs, jazz clubs, and onsens. Overall, a great option for a 1 to 2-night stay.
The hotel offers spacious rooms with splendid views at a very reasonable price. The service is polite, courteous, and efficient, making for a comfortable stay. The location is fantastic, providing stunning views of the harbor and easy access to the city center. Dining options are varied, though slightly expensive, and the facilities are top-notch.
The hotel offers wonderful views over the newly developed harbor, but the room smelled like smoke despite our non-smoking request. The service is kind and thoughtful, with assistance in English about Kobe city available. The location is truly outstanding, easily accessible to sightseeing spots, though not ideal for train travel. The dining spread is extensive but may not suit all tastes.
This hotel offers stunning views of the port, clean rooms with top-of-the-line amenities according to Japanese standards. The housekeeping service is exceptional, maintaining a tidy and spotless environment. The service excels in communication and assistance, making every moment convenient and enjoyable, despite being more car-oriented. The dining options are a mix of traditional and delightful surprises, though with some limitations. Overall, a clean, comfortable stay with friendly staff in a location perfect for exploring Kobe and beyond.
The hotel room provided an excellent view over the harbor, spotlessly clean and spacious, although it was a smoking room instead of what we booked. The service was faultless and friendly, arranging onward luggage delivery and offering the cleanest room imaginable. The location is convenient, being next to the waterfront, though a bit close to the main commercial center. The dining experience was a bit expensive and lacking style, despite excellent service in the Camelia Restaurant. Overall, a comfortable stay with some minor drawbacks.
My stay at the hotel was incredibly pleasant. The rooms were spotlessly clean and provided a truly amazing experience. Though the additional charge for an ocean view room was a bit steep, the leisure facilities being free for guests made up for it.
I had a fantastic stay at the hotel with very large rooms offering open sea views at an incredible price. The room was comfortable, spotlessly clean, spacious, and incredibly quiet. However, the glamour in the premises could be enhanced for those walking to downtown Kobe. The location was really convenient, close to the harbour, yet a bit far from the CBD. The dining experience was above average with a nice selection of Western and Japanese dishes. The service was genuinely friendly and professional and the breakfast truly satisfying. In terms of facilities, the hotel had everything I needed.
My stay at the hotel was a great experience overall. The rooms were nice and large with a fantastic view of the maritime museum, ferris wheel, and harbor, very spacious, clean, and comfortable. The staff was very polite and helpful, with large rooms offering great water views. The location was excellent, providing direct access to the seaside park and walking distance to Chinatown and Motomachi shopping street. The dining was remarkable, offering a great selection of delicious pastries and local specialties. However, housekeeping services were quite late, and the inability to access our triple room until 15:30 was a downside.
The hotel offers spacious and trendy rooms, perfect for families with children, although the bathroom showed signs of wear. The staff was exceptionally helpful and polite, making my stay delightful. The location was good but not as central as expected, with some additional cost for transportation. The dining options were nice, with a small complaint about the bacon. Overall, a hotel worth considering for a comfortable and convenient stay.
When we arrived at the hotel, we were impressed by the very comfy bed in our room, fitting perfectly with Japanese standards. However, the room initially smelt a bit 'old' for the first couple of hours. The staff provided professional services, from the Porter to Front Desk, Shop, and Manager, going above and beyond to fulfill any customer requests.
